Adult Women
Parish Programs
The heart of our apostolate is our parish-based Bible study program for adult women. Run by local lay women volunteers, approved by parish pastors, and supported by WWP national staff, our parish programs welcome all women irrespective of faith background, age, or marital status. The program incorporates at-home Scripture study, weekly small group discussion, and monthly talks on relevant study material.
Each parish program is led by a volunteer leadership team whose members receive online training and ongoing mentoring through our acclaimed leadership development program. The WWP leadership development program gives leaders the tools needed to effectively evangelize women in the parish community and the confidence to launch a WWP parish program without depleting scarce parish resources.
Independently Run Small Groups
Recognizing that not all women have the ability or desire to lead a Bible study in the parish setting, WWP offers
online small group leader resources that feature training videos, helpful tools, and organizational resources to support women leading WWP small group studies in homes, at schools, or in conjunction with other women's ministries.
School Programs
For women who have school-aged children and desire weekly small group Scripture study, WWP offers flexible options for school communities. We can help you tailor content for shorter sessions that is completed during your meeting time.
Virtual Groups
For women who are searching for a community of faith-filled women to journey with through Bible study from the comfort of your home, we have virtual groups forming regularly.
Events
Throughout the year, WWP hosts events across the country to inspire women to anchor themselves in the truths found in Scripture. WWP events bring women together with our Founder and CEO Lisa Brenninkmeyer, or one of our other speakers, for encouragement, worship, and fellowship. Learn about WWP events are free informational sessions designed to give attendees the opportunity to learn how to bring Bible study to their communities from other volunteer leaders and our staff.
Young Adult Women
At WWP, we care about women at every age and stage of their faith journey and desire to meet them where they are. Whether she is looking for answers to life's biggest questions, exploring her spirituality, or deeply rooted in her faith, we have something to accompany the young woman in her twenties. Recognizing that each woman’s journey is unique and personal, we have created two distinctive paths to best meet her individual needs.
For the young woman who has felt distant from faith, is searching for purpose, or is longing to find true freedom and peace,
Heart of Vines is the perfect starting place. This program, available as a book or a digital masterclass, is a gentle and affirming guide for believers and skeptics alike. It offers a fresh perspective on a divine love that speaks directly to our deepest hungers, fears, and hopes.
For those who are grounded in their faith and desire to deepen their relationship with God, we have created young adult Bible studies based on our popular studies for adult women and written especially for young women in their twenties. Our
Opening Your Heart young adult series is the place to find out what it means to be God's beloved daughter. And our
Keeping In Balance series provides guidance on managing life's pace and pressure while living with calm and steadiness. Perfect for both group and individual study.
High School Girls
WWP desires to help lead high school girls to the One who will never leave, never change, and who loves them unconditionally. The current statistics regarding teenage girls reveal an unprecedented spike in anxiety, depression, suicide, and loss of faith. We developed Sisters of Strength to bridge the gap between the truths God reveals to us through Scripture and a teen girl’s ability to receive that truth in a way that feels relevant.
Sisters of Strength is comprised of three components: a leader’s guide (
Sisters of Strength: A Catholic Mentoring Program for High School Girls) designed to reinforce the true identity and purpose of each high school girl within a small group setting; a beautiful companion to the leader’s guide (
Sisters of Strength Journal) that is filled with journaling questions; and a standalone book written for high school girls (
Sisters of Strength: Exploring Identity, Friendship, and Purpose), which allows girls to discover who they are, how deeply they are loved, the goodness of their identity, and why they are here.
At the heart of Sisters of Strength is a relentless desire for our girls to see themselves as God sees them—as beloved daughters—and empower them to change the world for good.
Tween/Teen Girls
Young girls today are understandably confused about their true worth and beauty. The WWP
BLAZE program was developed to counteract the cultural forces that drive girls to question their value, purpose, and faith. Like our studies for adult women, BLAZE makes the wisdom of the Bible relevant to today's challenges. It teaches girls to recognize the difference between the loving, affirming voice of their heavenly Father and the voices that tell them they aren't good enough.
The heart of the BLAZE ministry is the BLAZE Core program which equips an adult leader with everything needed to run a 20-lesson Bible study program for any number of tween/teen girls, in a variety of settings (e.g., school, parish, at home). A
BLAZE Leader's Guide and
BLAZE Kits (one kit per girl) are the elements of the BLAZE core program.
Additional BLAZE resources that nurture girls' spiritual growth include
Discovering My Purpose, a 6-lesson Bible study that leads girls on an exploration of their own spiritual gifts, and
Between You & Me, a 40-day conversation guide for mothers and daughters.
