Donated Materials Transform Lives

What is Walking with Purpose?

Walking with Purpose is on a mission to help all Catholic women and girls encounter Jesus Christ personally by teaching them to read Scripture and apply it to their everyday lives through Bible study. We believe this encounter is accelerated when it is experienced in small group communities.
To further our mission...
To further this mission, WWP has donated 3,327 Bible studies and devotionals since 2019 (and counting!), to ministries serving women and girls who are incarcerated, homeless, facing crisis pregnancies, or living in underserved communities. Our primary goal is to dramatically increase the volume of materials we provide at no cost to women and girls who are often overlooked or underserved. We believe that every woman, regardless of her circumstances, should have access to the life-changing wisdom found in God's Word.

Seeds are being planted, the Holy Spirit is at work, and we love hearing stories of transformed prayer life, restored hope, and new relationships with Christ.
  • We gave out the Bible studies today at the jail and they were a big hit. We did lesson 1, and there were many tears, and we could all feel the Holy Spirit working in everyone’s hearts.

—Jessica G., Prison Ministry, Manatee Jail, Palmetto, FL
  • They LOVE IT! The beautiful design of the cover, the daily devotionals...some were saying they wanted to save it for their mothers. They were thrilled, and read aloud yesterday's meditation.

——Volunteer, Bridgeport Rescue Mission, Bridgeport, CT
  • The Morris County Jail has now accepted the inmates from a neighboring county, which means our [Bible study] program has expanded. This is an amazing ministry: not only is the number of inmates increasing, but so are the number of volunteers!

—Christine G., Morris County Jail, Morristown, NJ
