Full time, Salary @ 40 hours and Work from Home

Role Overview

This revised position at WWP is responsible for all the back end, non-customer facing functions. Consolidating these functions under one department will make coordination easier and faster for the creation, production, printing and delivery of WWP products. Reporting directly to the CEO, this seasoned executive has proven operations oversight experience in all aspects of the day-to-day running of a thriving non profit ministry entering a significant growth stage. The ideal candidate is ready to step into all 6 functional areas with confidence and experience.

Ideally our DOO lives in the New York Metro market and  is very productive working from home and via video conferencing. Our DOO is experienced at working effectively in a growth environment. Our DOO is smart, resourceful, an out-of-the-box thinker, who loves and appreciates working on a successful team and the unique role that she/he plays on that team.  Regular travel to Greenwich, CT to meet with CEO.

The ideal candidate has been a participant in a Walking with Purpose study and is seeking to leverage his/her professional skills toward the support and growth of the ministry.

 

Experience and Education

  • 5+ years Operations experience
  • Product production, including commercial printer experience
  • Fulfillment and transportation experience.  Understanding shipping fees, rates and services
  • Project manager for printed/physical goods for retail sale
  • Managed IT Systems in a high growth environment and integration processes and navigation pathways
  • Managed a team of direct reports in one or many of these functional areas
  • Product line P/L responsibility, financial analytical skills and reasoning
  • Managed HR function that included annual reviews and onboarding new employees
  • Managed the hiring and recruiting process either directly or with a staff
  • B.A. or B.S. in business, publishing or a similar degree or equivalent work experience; MBA a plus

 

Core Responsibilities

Content Production: Oversees creation, editing, formating, TQM and final doc of course books, DVDs, BLAZE program materials and promotional materials, including marketing materials such as sample booklets, pop-up banners, promotional cards, book marks and special event products.  Manages version control for reprints and revisions.

Content Delivery: On-time delivery of all content to WWP fulfillment providers, including digital downloads.  Manage print timelines with inventory levels and product launch dates

Data and IT Systems: Maintenance and ongoing stability of WWP systems.  Improve coordination of data sharing and integration with Salesforce.  Data quality maintained and record de-duping maintained. Provide customer information/ lists for campaigns to ministry functions as needed.  (Donor information is owned by Advancement and not this IT group.)

Finance/accounting and Bookkeeping: Budgeting, tax prep, sales and use tax, insurance, workers compensation, monthly statements and reconciliation to budget, Ad hoc financial analysis, operations administration and donor deposits.

Human Resources: payroll, benefits, 401k, create and implement annual review process and timeline and creating and maintaining core HR files for each employee, HRSM ownership
